The cawing of a seagull as it swoops toward a sun-soaked beach. Waves lapping at the shoreline and wetting my bare toes. Laughter laced with the innocence of childhood. Saltwater taffy as it melts against the tongue. Summer air kissed by sunlight. Granules of sand as they sift through my fingers.

Much as this seaside dream beckons me to escape, the same can be said of the romances I write. Each one explores different territories and lays bare myriad emotions. A few clicks of the computer keys allow me to breath a bit of life, albeit a fictional one, into the characters who will find love and a lasting commitment by the time I place the last period mark.

Join me in these wonderful worlds. Historical and contemporary worlds that reveal love’s mysteries and magnificent possibilities. For an afternoon, an evening, and well beyond the time you finish reading the final page, immerse yourself in the fantasy…a fantasy that might become a reality for you some day.
